On what would have been Bands of America Grand National Finals evening, Music for All brings you a fun, memorable, and exciting online live pledge event, with special guests and performances and hosted by BOA emcees Chuck Henson, Dan Potter, and John Pollard.
Music is inherent to the human experience. Music education is vital for a well-rounded education in all children. Music for All has been providing positively life-changing experiences for millions of students and music educators since 1975. We provide opportunities for the pursuit of individual personal best and performance excellence with others. We support the social and emotional growth of young people today while nurturing the leadership development we need in our leaders of tomorrow.
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone, Music for All included. We were unable to present our events in 2020, cancelling them from the March Music for All National Festival to the November Bands of America Grand National Champions in order to keep people safe.

Several national awards and presentations will take place during the All Together Now! broadcast.
The Patrick John Hughes Parent/Booster Award annually recognizes the extraordinary commitment, dedication, support, and sacrifice of music parents and boosters around the world by shining a spotlight on an individual who exemplifies these qualities. The award is named in honor of Patrick John Hughes, the father of Patrick Henry Hughes, a remarkable man who, despite physical challenges that would seem overwhelming to many, excelled as a musician and student. The George N. Parks Leadership in Music Education Award honors an exemplary music educator who embodies the characteristics and leadership that George N. Parks showed his students every day. Each year, the National Association for Music Education and Music for All c0-present an award named for the late George N. Parks (1953-2010), director of the University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band.
Bands of America Hall of Fame members have made a significant impact on Bands of America, music education, and America’s band activity, represent impeccable character, ethics and professionalism, and are role models for music education professionals. The Class of 2020 will be honored: Patrick Burley, John Casagrande, Darrin Davis, and Philip Geiger.
The first person to be inducted into the “Music for All” Hall of Fame will be honored during All Together Now!.
The Music for All Foundation awards several scholarships annually. The Yamaha Scholarship, the Fred J. Miller Family Scholarship, and the Fred J. Miller Memorial Music Education Scholarship will be presented during the live pledge event. These three scholarships were established to contribute to the future of music and music education by honoring the achievements of outstanding graduating seniors who intend to pursue collegiate study as a music education major.
