Cavalcade of Bands is excited to announce our continued collaboration with Music for All with the second annual Affiliate Marching Band Event, presented by Yamaha, in Eastern Pennsylvania. The event will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026.​

This prestigious preliminary-finals competition is open to all marching bands, regardless of circuit affiliation or level of performance. Participating groups will be evaluated by a distinguished panel of local and nationally recognized adjudicators, utilizing the Bands of America scoring system. Performance order will be randomized, and division awards will be presented at the conclusion of the preliminary round for the top ensembles in each classification: Independence, American, Liberty, and Yankee.

The top eight ensembles, regardless of size or class, will be invited to return for the finals competition that evening, competing for top honors in this inaugural event.
