Late afternoon, you’ll attend an opening welcome session led by a member of the MFA staff and/or education faculty, and enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Today you’ll board a motor coach and be taken on a tour to experience the sights and sounds of Los Angeles! Starting with a Los Angeles and Hollywood city tour, local guides will join you and point out some iconic sights. You will have leisure time in both the Hollywood area and the Farmer’s Market today before returning to the hotel for a leisure afternoon and evening. BREAKFAST INCLUDED AT THE HOTEL.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests will be taken to the Museum of Music-Making by NAMM, Music for All’s Strategic Advocacy partner.

All package holders will board motor coach transportation and travel to Long beach City College for the 2022 Honor Band in the Rose Parade’s first public performance at the Dress Rehearsal Performance Night.

BREAKFAST INCLUDED AT THE HOTEL FOR 7-NIGHT PACKAGE HOLDERS.

Guests will board motor coach transportation and be brought to Pasadena City College to watch the 2022 Honor Band in the Rose Parade perform at the Tournament of Roses Bandfest! The Honor Band will be one of many performances this day, and your ticket allows you to watch all of the performances in our session. All of these groups will be performing a short field show, then concluding their time in front of audiences with a pass and review, as they showcase their parade performances.

After Bandfest, you’ll be able to walk through one of the float barns to watch teams decorate the floats that you will see in the Tournament of Roses Parade. The excitement it contagious as you watch many hands placing flowers in individual viles of water or gluing crushed black-eyed peas onto the floats to ensure that the entire surface is covered in organic material. The day concludes with a leisurely evening in Anaheim. For ideas on places to visit, or things to do, Music Travel Consultants as well as the hotel’s concierge desk will be available to assist you.

Guests will have breakfast at the hotel before traveling to Disneyland to watch the Honor Band perform! Although the performance time won’t be finalized until 4 weeks prior to the event, you’ll be able to grab something sweet to eat on Main Street before the performance and catch some rides afterwards!

It’s parade day! Guests will have an early morning, and grab breakfast to take with them as they board the motor coach. There’s nothing more exciting than watching the sun rise over the streets of Pasadena as everyone bustles around you to find the perfect spot to watch the Tournament of Roses Parade. At the parade’s conclusion, everyone will board the buses to be brought back to the hotel for a leisure afternoon at the hotel before the Honor Band members and staff join you in the ballrooms for the Closing Session and Gala Banquet.

Before traveling to Disneyland and California Adventure for a full day of fun in the theme park, breakfast will be served at the hotel. The group buses will do a drop-off in the morning and a return trip in the evening to/from the hotel. Transfers midday can be arranged individually with the hotel onsite if needed, or it is walkable to the hotel from the parks.

All guests should check out of the hotel by Noon, but are able to depart at any time. For transportation back to the airport, you can utilize a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft, or ask the hotel front desk to call a taxi cab. If your student is in the Honor Band, they will be brought back to the airport on a Music for All shuttle, so you can meet them at the airport ticket counters. If you wish to travel to the airport with your student, navigate to their hotel, and then you can all call a ride share service or taxicab from that hotel.

Yes! There will be a link on each traveler’s dashboard once registered that will take you to the Travel Insured retail site to inquire about pricing and options. The MOST IMPORTANT thing is that CFAR insurance MUST be purchased within 21 days of making your parade package trip deposit. This is not MTC or MFA’s policy, this is standard insurance policy…if insurance is purchased beyond the 21-day deposit mark, there is nothing that MTC or MFA or your insurance company can do to add CFAR on at a later date. Please contact either Travel Insured or your preferred insurance carrier directly with individual questions!

Parking is available onsite for $28 per night (self park) or $36 per night (valet).

We are not able to a la carte out different options and inclusions, they must be purchased as a package, either the 7-night or the 5- night option.

The payer/account holder should put their intended roommates in the special needs section of the registration, be sure to click that box! We will audit that report every few days to monitor the rooming requests and create the rooming spreadsheet from there.

The payment schedule listed on the tour conditions is based on quad occupancy…you are welcome to pay your per person supplement whenever you would like along the way, but it will be officially invoiced as part of the final invoice, which is emailed out 30 days prior to departure to be paid 21 days prior to departure.

Yes, if you’d like to go in and make monthly payments, that’s not a problem and are welcome to do so. You will still receive the auto-generated invoice reminders a week before an installment is due. Any alternate payment arrangements aside from that should be communicated to accounting@musictravel.com
