Music for All’s Bands of America Honor Band will march in The Rose Parade on New Year’s Day 2022 in Pasadena, California. With more than 300 members, this national honor band will represent school band programs across America. Meet the members!

Why did you apply to be a member of the Honor Band?

I applied to be in the Honor Band because this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform in this parade and I want to be a part of an experience like this.

What part of the trip are you most excited about?

I’m extremely excited to meet other members of this band as well as go to Disneyland and perform! 

What are three things you’ve learned from being involved in your high school music program?

Responsibility, Teamwork, Dedication

To date, what is your favorite memory of being involved in your high school music program?

The experience of ranking high in a competition, celebrating with my team, and seeing all the hard work pay off makes all the long hours worth it.

What activities and clubs are you involved in?

Winter Guard, Marching Band, Track & Field

What are your post-graduation plans?

I want to attend college and continue performing and/or teaching color guard. I either want to study marketing or teaching.
