Music for All’s Bands of America Honor Band will march in The Rose Parade on New Year’s Day 2022 in Pasadena, California. With more than 300 members, this national honor band will represent school band programs across America. Meet the members!

Why did you apply to be a member of the Honor Band?
I thought it would be a really fun experience and I wanted to march in the rose parade.
What part of the trip are you most excited about?
I think I’m most excited about band fest. I think it’ll be really exciting to see all of the other bands and get perform in front of them!!
What are three things you’ve learned from being involved in your high school music program?
- Discipline
- Time management
- Working with others
To date, what is your favorite memory of being involved in your high school band program?
My favorite memory would be my freshman year championships. It was a really great experience that I vlogged and was really glad to be a part of!!
What activities and clubs are you involved in?
I’m involved in Key Club, Botany Club, and South Asian Cultural Association. I also volunteer at a local food pantry near my house.
What are your post-graduation plans?
I plan to attend college but I am unsure of what I want to major in yet

I can ice skate and sometimes I go to the rink and play hockey for fun
