Music for All’s Bands of America Honor Band will march in The Rose Parade on New Year’s Day 2022 in Pasadena, California. With more than 300 members, this national honor band will represent school band programs across America. Meet the members!

Why did you apply to be a member of the Honor Band?
A few people from my school did it in the past, so it was a something I’d heard a lot about but never thought I could do, until now
What part of the trip are you most excited about?
The memories everyone’s going to make not just by marching and playing, but by being with each other
What are three things you’ve learned from being involved in your high school music program?
Be prepared, always be willing to listen, make the best out of the short time you have
To date, what is your favorite memory of being involved in your high school music program?
The feeling of excitement and anticipation as we got onto the field at Grand National Finals
What activities and clubs are you involved in?
I run hurdles in Track and Field, I also really enjoy doing service projects.
What are your post-graduation plans?
Becoming a commercial pilot and living someplace warm that doesn’t get any snow ever
