Music for All’s Bands of America Honor Band will march in The Rose Parade on New Year’s Day 2022 in Pasadena, California. With more than 300 members, this national honor band will represent school band programs across America. Meet the members!

Why did you apply to be a member of the Honor Band?
I applied because I thought it sounded cool to march in the Rose Parade.
What part of the trip are you most excited about?
I am most excited about marching in the parade,
What are three things you’ve learned from being involved in your high school music program?

To date, what is your favorite memory of being involved in your high school music program?
Playing Natural Woman on the marching band field – our trombone section rocked
What activities and clubs are you involved in?
Jazz Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band

Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps (on baritone)
What are your post-graduation plans?
Get a full ride to college to get a music education degree to be an awesome band director
Have you participated in any Music for All or Bands of America activities before? If so, which ones?
No – but I wish I could. We were planning on doing the summer symposium when COVID-19 hit.
Tell us something unique about yourself.
My dad, my mom, both of my grandfathers, and my great grandfather were all band directors in the state of Alabama. It’s in my blood!
