Music for All’s Bands of America Honor Band will march in The Rose Parade on New Year’s Day 2022 in Pasadena, California. With more than 300 members, this national honor band will represent school band programs across America. Meet the members!

Why did you apply to be a member of the Honor Band?

I applied for the Honor Band because I saw a video showing off the group, and I was gonna be a senior in high school so it would be perfect.

What part of the trip are you most excited about?

I am excited about Disneyland! And playing drums!

What are three things you’ve learned from being involved in your high school music program?

-You are only as strong as your weakest link.

-Don’t practice until you get it right, practice it until you can’t get it wrong

-In drumline, listen in, and tune out

To date, what is your favorite memory of being involved in your high school band program?

When our band director fell at our Christmas concert on a snare drum

What are your post-graduation plans?

I am currently attending Liberty University Majoring in Computer Information Systems and double minoring in Vocal & Percussion Performance.
