Music for All’s Bands of America Honor Band will march in The Rose Parade on New Year’s Day 2022 in Pasadena, California. With more than 300 members, this national honor band will represent school band programs across America. Meet the members!

Why did you apply to be a member of the Honor Band?

To experience a once in a lifetime musical opportunity with several other students from my high school.

What part of the trip are you most excited about?

Getting to learn from the best of the best with students from all around the country.

What are three things you’ve learned from being involved in your high school music program?

You have to put in a lot of effort, but in the end it pays off.

Making friends and having fun is key to making the most of it.

Learning how perform confidently for an audience.

To date, what is your favorite memory of being involved in your high school band program?

After the scores are announced at BOA events and we break form filled with excitement knowing we did our best.
