Music for All’s Bands of America Honor Band will march in The Rose Parade on New Year’s Day 2022 in Pasadena, California. With more than 300 members, this national honor band will represent school band programs across America. Meet the members!
Why did you apply to be a member of the Honor Band?
I applied because I’ve always wanted to march in this parade and it was a challenge for me
What part of the trip are you most excited about?
I’m most excited to meet everyone and start playing music with everyone
What are three things you’ve learned from being involved in your high school music program?
The band is a family, learn to over come obstacles, music can help guide you
To date, what is your favorite memory of being involved in your high school band program?
Making Semi Finals at Grand Nationals
What activities and clubs are you involved in?
I’m a student ambassador at Wilmington College, in the pep band, part of BSI, and a thrower on the track team
What are your post-graduation plans?
I’ve already graduated high schooland I’m in college for athletic training
