Music for All’s Bands of America Honor Band will march in The Rose Parade on New Year’s Day 2022 in Pasadena, California. With more than 300 members, this national honor band will represent school band programs across America. Meet the members!

Why did you apply to be a member of the Honor Band?
I applied to be a member of the Honor Band because I knew it was going to be a rememberable experience full of fun and laughter.
What part of the trip are you most excited about?
I am most excited about the Rose Parade. I can’t wait to see all the beautiful floats, flowers, and all the people there to enjoy the experience.
What are three things you’ve learned from being involved in your high school music program?
Three big things I’ve learned from being in a high school music program is you must work for what you truly want, the people you perform with will become your closest allies, and when times are tough is when you’re growing the most as a person and performer.
To date, what is your favorite memory of being involved in your high school music program?
My favorite memory about being involved in a high school music program is all the strong connections I have made with the people I perform with. I have never formed stronger bonds with such a large amount of people at one time. Each person holds a memory close to my heart that I will never forget.
What activities and clubs are you involved in?
I am a Relay for Life coordinator, veterans club member, HOSA competitor, TAP-health collaborative member, American Heritage Girl, basketball player, and intern at ABC pediatric therapy.
What are your post-graduation plans?
I plan to attend it four-year college and major in the medical field

Yes, I have participated in BOA Super Regionals and BOA Grand Nationals.
